| Once the test strategy is in place, the Delivery Team must then create test cases for all the different types of testing
defined in the test strategy. The test cases must include the set of conditions to verify and confirm that the system /
application produce the expected results post implementing the maintenance change requests. Typically, the different types
of test cases for a maintenance change request include unit test cases, integration test cases, performance test cases,
system test cases, database test cases, functionality test cases, etc. In some engagements, set of test cases for standard
verification (security, etc.) may be available in the technology knowledge management system, which may need to be reused.
Preparation of test cases may not applicable to bug fixing type of maintenance change requests. |
